A "Piece" Of My Testimony

Not long after I gave my heart to God and received Jesus as my Lord, He showed me
that until that point I had taken pieces of my heart and sold them to those who came
into my life.

The "valuable pieces" always had a price; you had to love me, you had to do things for
me; invest your time; it could get pretty expensive to buy my love.

Some person would come along with a promise they didn't keep "theft by deception"
they were stealing my heart!

Then my Savior helped me gather up all the pieces (through forgiveness).  I took the
hard, brittle pieces of my broken heart and handed them over to the master Mender,
and told Him I didn't know what to do with it and that He should keep it.

He took those hard pieces and replaced them with a heart of flesh.  I started to argue
but He said, "all you need to do is give your whole heart to each person I show you
and you will always have Mine."
